We work on small and large residential projects, in cities and rural areas providing full and comprehensive architectural design services together with interior design, and landscaping & engineering coordination. We provide other services such as basic design services, concept design packages, master planning, design review services, and individual consultations; but our signature service is our comprehensive design service where we manage the entire project from start to finish.
About Yvonne
Yvonne Riggie founded YR Architecture + Design in 2013, combining her interests and knowledge in design, construction, and social responsibility. Through her diverse experiences living, working, and volunteering in some of the poorest and wealthiest places around the world, she has a keen understanding, empathy, and appreciation for the human condition. She believes that architecture can happen anywhere, at any scale, and at any budget. This belief deeply affects her view on the role of architecture and the long-term impact of good design on our lives and our community.
Prior to starting YRa+d, Yvonne worked for eight years at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in their San Francisco office where she sharpened her design skills working on the Newport Beach Civic Center and Park and high-profile retail stores. Yvonne holds a MArch and MBA from Kent State University in Ohio. She is a licensed architect in WV and OH and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction.
